World of Warcraft To Remove Twitter Integration

Blizzard Entertainment’s Community Manager Kaivax has taken to the Blizzard Forum to announce they are removing Twitter Integration from World of Warcraft.

The company released the following message:

Over the next two days, we will update World of Warcraft® to remove the integrated Twitter® posting feature. After this small update, the function to Tweet from in-game will no longer be available, and the settings which store your Twitter credentials will no longer appear.

This will not require any action by players.

The responses seem to indicate that many players were not aware the MMORPG even had the feature to begin with leading many to believe this is being removed due to very low usage.
