According to Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the recently announced Playstation VR 2 will be shipping in Q2 2022.
Kuo is known to be very accurate on his reporting as most of his sources come from within the numerous supply chains across Asia. It’s said that Apple have also been very interested in entering the VR space and has been watching their would be competitors like a hawk. This includes Sony, Meta, and Microsoft.
Also worth noting is that according to Kuo Yujingguang and Goertek will be the Fresnel lens suppliers for the Playstation VR.
