Niigata Man Arrested For Selling Modded Breath of the Wild Save Files

According to a report by the Broadcasting System of Niigata, Niigata prefecture police arrested 27-year-old Ichimin Sho for selling modified save files for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on an unspecified auction site. For 3,500 yen ($31 USD) Sho would sell you a save file that would contain improved game abilities as well as some hard to obtain items at the request of the purchaser.

After his arrest, Sho also noted that he had been doing this for the past 18 months and has made around 10 million yen (around $90,000 USD) from this an other unnamed titles.
