Sega have announced that their fighing game Virtua Fighter 5 is being “remade for a new generation” under the title Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown. This remake will feature several updates including user interface, shaders, lighting, and a new opening cinematic. The biggest difference you will notice immediately is that it is being rebuilt using Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Dragon Engine.
Virtua Fighter 5 originally released back in 2006 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and arcades.
Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown releases on June 1 for Playstation 4. You can view the announcement trailer down below:
