Major news for fans of Ni no Kuni as Warner Bros. Japan and Level-5 have announced that a Ni no Kuni animated film is coming to Japan this summer.
The project will be developed by OLM, Inc. and feature a star studded staff including:
- Overall Direction / Original Draft and Screenplay: Akihiro Hino (Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, Yo-kai Watch, Dragon Quest VIII)
- Director: Yoshiyuki Momose (Only Yesterday, Modest Heroes, Osamu Tezuka Story: I am Son-Goku)
- Music: Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Moving Castle)
- Lead Role: Kento Yamazaki (Death Note, Orange live-action TV series, Good Doctor)
