Ever since the announcment of Shenmue 3 at E3 the internet has gone insane, especially on Kickstarter. Almost just as fast and people are donating, YS has already launched the Official Site for Shenmue 3 along with a Press Release.
Key notes from the Press Release are the people who are now involved with the project, many of whom are famous in their fields. Returning to work on the game includes the original Composer Ryuiji Luchi, Script Writer Masahiro Yoshimoto, and Lead Programmer and Creative Director Tak Hirai. Others joining the team is Prop Designer Kenji Miyawaki from the Bakugan series, Video Director of Santa Company Kenji Itoso, and Voice Actor Masaya Matsukaze from Death Note and Hunter x Hunter fame.
