Bonfire Studios has just been revealed to the popular and it’s already receiving some major names on board from both developmental and financial standpoints.
The studio was created by Rob Pardo, the Lead Designer of World of Warcraft, who runs day-today operations as the CEO. Pardo is joined by Diablo III Game Director Josh Mosqueira, Battle.net Game Director Matthew Versluys, and former Nexon CEO Min Kim. It’s also rumored that the Co-Creator of Starcraft,Warcraft, and Diablo Chris Metzen has joined the company, but that has not been confirmed.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, the studio has received investments from both a16z and Riot Games.
