According to a report by ESPN, Immortals is out of the North American LCS and Echo Fox will keep their spot.
Other teams that were previously denied franchising within the NA LCS include Team Dignitas,Team Envy and Phoenix1. Teams that have been confirmed for the 10 team NA LCS franchise include Cloud9, TSM, Liquid, Counter-Logic Gaming, Echo Fox, OpTic Gaming, and an unannounced organization that was recently purchased by the majority stake owners of the Golden State Warriors.
There are even allegations that part of the reason for Immortal’s denial is due to the amount of funding they are currently pumping into the Overwatch League, but those are just allegations.
