
In their Q2 2019 earnings call, PepsiCo CEO Ramon Laguarta revealed that they saw increase of 4.5% in sales in large part thanks to Mountain Dew AMP Game Fuel. Laguara even noted to Bloomberg that their European supplier cannot keep their custom-made cap in stock.
Game Fuel is part of a plan to revitalize the Mountain Dew brand by using Game Fuel as the target market for esports and gaming. Mountain Dew even sponsors esports organizations such as SK Gaming, Immortals, OpTic Gaming, and Dignitas.
