Need for Speed Requires Internet Connection

EA came out on Twitter today and gave out some information about the Need for Speed reboot in development. The announcement has erupted in some controversy among fans. The news was that Need for Speed will require an internet connection to play the game.

 

The Tweet said…

 

“We can confirm that, yes, a connection will be needed to play the game. To deliver the best experience possible and make playing with friends more rewarding, an online connection will be required.”

While nothing has been revealed about the single-player mode. EA did reveal that the Cockpit camera will not be included in this installment.

 

Additional information about the game will be revealed “in the coming weeks.” The best guess is that it will be at E3.
