Microsoft Closes Xbox Entertainment Studios

As if you already didn’t hear that Microsoft was going to layoff 18,000 employees, the company also announced that they will be closing Xbox Entertainment Studios.

While nobody knows what this means for some of their games a couple things are certain. They will continue developing sports content like “NFL on Xbox”. As for you Halo fans, you need not worry. Halo: Nightfall will still be developed as the game very far into development and the company is also in negotiations with Showtime.
