Gevous Released From Splyce

Splyce have announced they have decided to release Fayan “Gevous” Pertijs from their League of Legends squad. Gevous was brought in during the start of the Summer Split after the release of Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi as their new head coach.

Splyce CEO Marty “Lazerchicken” Strenczewilk said in the announcement..

“The biggest challenge here…was that there was a real lack of chemistry between the coach and the players. As time went on, we realized that the chemistry wasn’t there, it wasn’t building, and he wasn’t the right style of person to lead our organization.”

Splyce have yet to announce their replacement coach, but expect an announcement very soon as the team faces the Mysterious Monkeys on August 3.
