It appears that Dragon Ball FighterZ will contain loot boxes. This comes after ResetEra forum member DrDogg showed his avatar costume of Piccolo. The outfit is from an episode of Dragon Ball Z where tries to get a driver’s license along with Goku. When asked how he obtained the outfit, DrDogg noted it was obtained through loot boxes and said that these loot boxes can be bought with real money as well as in-game currency.
It’s worth noting that signs are pointing to these loot boxes only being for lobby avatars and not any other in-game content.
