Nintendo Bringing Back Nintendo World Championships

Nintendo have announced they are bringing back the Nintendo World Championships this year as Nintendo World Championships 2017. The event will return on October 7 with qualifying matches taking place from August 19-September 10. These qualifying events take place in different cities at participating Best Buy locations.

You can view the cities down below..

August 19-20: New York, San Francisco Bay Area

August 26-27: Chicago, Los Angeles

September 2-3: Minneapolis, Dallas

September 9-10: Seattle, Miami

These tournaments will feature two brackets; 12 and under, and 13 and older. These qualifiers will revolve aroundtime trial matches in Mario Kart 7 on 3DS. Players who attend these qualifiers will also be able to access demos for Super Mario Odyssey and Metroid: Samus Returns.
