While lots of gamers remember Ghosts N’ Goblins and the whole “This castle is an illusion” that made so many of us frustrated, most forget that there was actually a sequel called Ghouls ‘N Ghosts.
Today a player who goes by Aquas set the world record for Ghouls ‘N Ghosts. Aquas did it with a time of 15 minutes 23 seconds. He also technically is the 2nd place record holder as well since speedrunners are allowed to submit times on different consoles. Since the speedrunning community is so small, they include the submitted times for the different consoles. He set this record using a Japanese arcade emulator. His second best time was on Playstation 2 with a time of 15 minutes 24 seconds.
