Pre-Orders For Xbox One X Sold Out In Japan

While Xbox has never sold well in Japan since the original console was release, Microsoft finally get to receive some good news out of the region. According to Game Watch all major retailers within Japan including Yodobashi Camera, Bic Camera, Yamada Denki, Nojima and Joshin are all sold out of Xbox One X pre-orders.

Another major problem is that most retailers won’t even have consoles available on launch day (tomorrow) due to the pre-order numbers. Some retailers such as Yamada Denki and Bic Camera have stated they could have some consoles available, but in low quantities. Yamada Denki are already going as far as to start taking pre-orders for the next shipment.

It’s unknown just how many units were shipped to Japan, but we will find out when the Media Create numbers are made available on November 15.
