During the Dragon Quest The Real opening event at Universal Studios Japan, Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii teased that there will be an announcement related to Dragon Quest XI in the near future. Horii stated..
“All of the staff are currently working really hard making the game. I think that we’ll be able to make an announcement of some sort soon, so please look forward to it.”
Many believe the announcement will be a release date. Horii has also noted in the past he would like Dragon Quest XI to release before the 30th Anniversary year ends which will be on May 27, but that doesn’t seem to be likely.
