Steam Now Warning Players Of “Abandoned” Early Access Titles

As first noticed by SteamDB, Valve has quietly implemented a note on Early Access titles if they have not received a single update within 12 months.

Gamers have praised this decision as many games over the years have entered Early Access only to be abandoned after a very short time and developers either going dark, or out of business.

There are still loads of questions regarding how far back Steam will go back for titles that have been been listed for several years without updates and if there will be any expansion of their refund policies in these specific cases.
