Microsoft Announces FPS Boost

Xbox Senior Program Manager Paul Eng has revealed that the backwards compatibility team at Xbox have successfully created FPS Boost and will have a soft launch today.

This new technology will allow you to double (or quadruple on select titles) your framerate. Titles will be able to achieve 60-120FPS on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

At the time of publishing only 5 titles have FPS Boost. These titles are Super Lucky’s Tale, UFC 4, Watch Dogs 2, Sniper Elite 4, and Far Cry 4.
