Huya Reportedly Working On New Streaming Platform

According to a new report by 36kr, Chinese streaming platform Huya are working on a new streaming platform with their primary target audience being comic book fans and Generation Z gamers.

It’s unknown if the novels (ACGN) platform would be a standlaone application or website, but it we have learned it is still in the planning stages with the target market being women who were born between 1995-2000.

It’s believe this would be in an attempt to compete with Bilibili who are owned by Alibaba. Both of these companies are the Chinese equivalents to Twitch and Mixer.
