Rumor: Destiny 2 Cross Save Coming Soon

Rumor: Destiny 2 Will Allow Cross Save Soon

Another Destiny 2 update means another data mined rumor. This time around, it’s a very interesting one. The data miners have leaked the next expansion already but we won’t discuss that here, that features spoilers and this article will focus mainly on the new feature possibly coming to Bungie’s blockbuster hit.

Cross Save has been a feature long requested by players for years now, and the fact that the ability will possibly be here to accomplish this is exciting. From what the data mined material claims though, you will be able to Cross Save between PC, Xbox, and Google Stadia, leaving the Playstation 4 folks unable to participate at this time.

The original article from Kotaku states they have sources within Bungie that have also mentioned Cross Save being announced in a Livestream tomorrow revealing their Year Three Plans for Destiny 2. At the time they were not sure if Sony was on board to participate, in the past Sony has turned down Cross Save. Examples of that are Rocket League and Fortnite.

With this being leaked, there was no news on possible cross play coming. Still, this does look to be an amazing bit of news to help bring the Destiny community closer together. Make sure to tune in tomorrow to Twitch for the official announcement of the new Expansion coming to Destiny and possible news on Cross Save at 10AM PDT.
