Falcom announced via Twitter that their upcoming game YS VIII for Playstation 4 has gone gold. This means that development is 100% complete and is ready for distribution. The Tweet says
“The final master version [of Ys VIII for PS4] has arrived! We just started playing it. Everyone, please rest assured. With this, there is almost no possibility that the release date will be delayed. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4 version) will launch on May 25, 2017 (Thursday).”
Ys VIII is currently available in Japan for PS Vita and will release in the country on May 25. North America and Europe will receive the game this Fall on PC, PS Vita, and Playstation 4.
