Microsoft have announced that the Xbox One will be receiving a price drop of 5,000 yen in Japan. This does not include bundles that include the Kinect.

- Xbox One 500GB (Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle) – 29,980 yen (previously 34,980 yen)
- Xbox One 1TB (The Division Bundle) – 34,980 yen (previously 39,980 yen)
- Xbox One 500GB (Battlefield 1 Bundle) – 29,980 yen (previously 34,980 yen)
These price drops will take place starting on October 13.
