Wii U and 3DS eShops Closing In 42 Countries

It seems like a generation of games systems are slowly coming to an end as Nintendo have announced they will be closing down the eShops for both Wii U and 3DS on July 31, 2020 in 42 countries. All of these are located in Latin America and in the Carribeans.

These countries include the following:

  • Antigua/Barbuda
  • Argentina
  • Aruba
  • Bahamas
  • Barbados
  • Belize
  • Bermuda
  • Bolivia
  • British Virgin Islands
  • Cayman Islands
  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Costa Rica
  • Dominica
  • Dominican Republic
  • Ecuador
  • El Salvador
  • French Guiana
  • Grenada
  • Guadeloupe
  • Guatemala
  • Guyana
  • Haiti
  • Honduras
  • Jamaica
  • Martinique
  • Montserrat
  • Netherlands Antilles
  • Nicaragua
  • Panama
  • Paraguay
  • Peru
  • St. Kitts and Nevis
  • St. Lucia
  • St. Vincent/Grenadines

This shut down will NOT effect New 2DS and New 3DS systems.
