In a joint press release, Solei and Valhalla Game Studios have announced they are merging. This will see Valhalla Game Studios dissolved and all of their staff have been absored by Soleil. Takayuki Kikuchi will also transition from CEO of Valhalla Game Studios to the new chairman and CEO of Soleil. Kikuchi said in the press release:
It is our staunch belief that this merger will allow us to provide better services for our clients and it will certainly make a synergistic effect by improving management efficiency and unified operation resources.

Valhalla Game Studios are best known as the developers of Devil’s Third with their most recent release being the Japanese exclusive Momotaro Dentetsu 2017: Tachiagare Nippon!! on Nintendo 3DS.
