Retro gaming has become huge business in the past 3 years, especially on the NES. Plus it’s always interesting to find out things about beta versions of old games.
Somebody who goes by thisship, has posted an NES prototype cartridge of Midway Games arcade game Trog on eBay. The NES port was published by Acclaim and developed by Midway games back in 1991. Players control one of two dinosaurs and must collect eggs onscreen while being pursued by cavemen called Trog.
The seller noted that the game ROM has never been dumped and has been verified to work. The game has been graded and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from VGA. The current asking price is $25,000.
