Take-Two Interactive CEO Receives Double His Salary

First spotted by Axios, Take-Two Interactive’s top brass have received massive increases to their annual salary. CEO Strauss Zelnick, and company president Karl Slatoff will now receive salaries of $72.3 million with 60% being cash and 40% in the form of stock.

For comparison, disclosures for the 2023 fiscal year showed that Zelnick received $42.1 million that year.

In what could make gamers even more upset is the company has seen growth goals for microtransactions which now determines 25% of their possible compensation. This means that around $15-18 million of his annual salary will be paid for using revenue from microtransactions.
