A new world record for the wildly popular Super Mario World has been set. Earlier today speedrunner Area51 set a new world record for the game under the 11 Exit category. Area51 completed the run in 9 minutes 45 seconds 283 milliseconds. This beats the previous world record held by xpaco5 by just 5 milliseconds.
