Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced they have aquired 100% equity in Firewalk Studios from ProbablyMonsters Incorporated for an undisclosed amount.
Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said in a press release:
“Firewalk Studios is led by a world-class team that is highly experienced and deeply passionate about creating exceptional multiplayer games that foster memorable shared experiences. Entertainment. “I’m confident the studio’s upcoming project will be a robust addition to PlayStation Studios’ portfolio, and its live service and technology expertise will be instrumental in helping grow PlayStation’s reach.”
Firewalk Studios partnered with Sony back in September 2021 to develop a AAA multiplayer title that has still not been publicly announced.
