In what could be signs of more game studios being acquired for millions, news editor Imran Khan revealed he has started to hear rumblings that several game publishers have expressed interest in purchasing some game studios currently under the Warner Bros. Discovery banner. Publishers that have reportedly shown interest include Sony, Microsoft, PUBG Corp., NetEase, Take-Two Interactive, and Electronic Arts.

Warner Bros. Discovery own several popular game studios around the world including Rocksteady Studios, NetherRealm Studios, TT Games, and Monolith Productions.
