Twitter user @piercesword has discovered that Sega have trademarked the term “Humankind” in Japan.
This has led many to speculate that Sega owns the rights to a video game titled Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey which is currently in development by Panache Digital Games and will act as the publishers to this title. However, it is not confirmed to be the case at the time of publishing.
What we do know for certain is that the game will be making an appearance at The Game Awards 2018 on December 6.
