Sega Extending Development Time On Sonic Games

During a recent Q&A, Sonic Team’s Social Media Manager Aaron Webber revealed that the team are taking longer times to develop future Sonic titles in order to improve the overall quality.

Webber noted that the quality of Sonic titles in recent years has suffered due to them being released on a yearly basis.

The last mainline Sonic title was Sonic Forces back in 2017 and 2021 will the hedgehog’s 30th anniversary.
