The records just keep on coming as a sealed copy of Pokemon Blue Edition has sold for $96,000 on Heritage Auction. This copy was a first production issue with the Sandshrew red text. It was also graded a 9.4 by WATA.
What makes this more insane is that the same version with the exact same grade sold earlier in the day for $26,400. The only difference was it had Sandshrew with the normal Blue text.
