Rumors have started to circulate that Microsoft are working on a virtual reality headset for the Xbox Series. This comes after Giovanni Marrelli of IGN Italy wrote that he received a pop up message that when translated to English says “the VR viewer needs to be updated” after plugging in the new Xbox Wireless Headset.
Marrelli also noted that that next message and the button to start the update stated “An update for the VR headset is available” and “Update VR headset”.
Microsoft have not made any mention regarding the development of a virtual reality headset at the time of publishing.
