In the latest episode of the XboxEra podcast, Shpeshal_Nick suggests that PlatinumGames are working with Xbox to revive the action RPG title Scalebound.
Nick said:
Now, look – it’s very, very early, but I’ve been told that Platinum(Games) is working with Xbox again to look at bringing back Scalebound.
This wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities as Platinum Games Vice President and Game Designer Hideki Kamiya has expressed interest throughout 2022 that he wanted to meet with Microsoft about revisiting and possibly reviving Scalebound.
Scalebound was cancelled back in 2017 due to “business decisions” by Microsoft and Platinum Games. This action RPG would have been released on Xbox One and published under the Microsoft Studios banner.
