Rumors originating from PokeJungle have surfaced online stating that the upcoming Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch will not feature a turn-based battle system. Instead, the site claims it will feature a “simplified battle system” similar to that of the Digimon World games.
The site also claims that the game is far into development as the Chinese development team have already completed the game’s script. Also noted is the return of Z-moves that will be compatible with the Joy-Con’s motion controls and no new Mega Evolutions.
Please keep in mind these are still rumors and nothing is confirmed. It is also worth noting that PokeJungle leaked that Team Rainbow Rocket would be in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon, which adds to their credibility.
