Rumor: Nintendo Work on Switch Revision Codenamed “Aula”

Rumors have quickly started to circulate that Nintendo are working on a new version of the Switch under the codename “Aula”. This comes from Centro Pokemon who said that this was noticed by dataminers on 4channel looking through the latest firmware update.

This new version would supposedly feature a more powerful docking station, an OLED screen, and 4K support.

Some have speculated that this could actually just be an education version of the Switch for schools as Aula is the spanish world for classroom. Others don’t see the company using 4K resolution, but it’s actually possible thanks to DLSS on Tensor cores being capable of upscaling.

Nothing has been confirmed at the time of publishing.
