Rockstar Games Fires Employees For Allegedly Leaking Information

In a statement to Bloomberg, Rockstar Games confirmed they have fired numerous employees for leaking company secrets in a private Discord channel. The spokesperson said:

“Last week, we took action against a small number of individuals who were found to be distributing and discussing confidential information in a public forum, a violation of our company policies. This was in no way related to people’s right to join a union or engage in union activities.”

This claim has been disputed by the Independent Workers’ Union of Great Britain as they told Bloomberg that all the employees that were fired were all involved with union efforts at Rockstar Games. All the members of this private Discord channel were all either employees at Rockstar Games or labor organizers.
