SMG Studio have released a quick hotfix for their popular free-to-play title RISK: Global Domination.

This update fixes some known bugs while also acknowledged players experiencing Sandbox maps disappearing after logging out of the game.

RISK: Global Domination is available for PC via Steam. You can view the patch notes down below:

Bugfixes

  1. Fixed one more instance where players and bots could spawn multiple caps.
  2. Fixed a bug that could make player emotes, friends and other account-specific config disappear game to game.
  3. Multiple players and bots sharing the colour red should no longer be possible.
  4. Minimising the app should cause less interference with other player’s turn timers on mobile.
  5. Bots in manual placement should no longer wait out their entire turn timers.

Known Issues

  1. We are aware of a bug that will cause player’s published Sandbox maps to disappear if they log out of their accounts. We are working on a server-side fix we will be deploying in the coming days. In the meantime be aware that logging out may cause Sandbox maps to disappear!

Thanks, and have a great holiday!
