Resident Evil VII For PS4 Sells 59% Of Shipment In Japan

According to a new report by Japanese sales research firm Media Create, the Playstation 4 version of Capcom’s Resident Evil VII only sold 58.64% of their initial shipments during its launch week. Despite this, it still managed to reached the number 1 spot of the rankings with 187,306 copies sold.

However Media Create and Capcom believe this number could increase dramatically if Sony releases more Playstation VR units. This is due to sales of the Playstation 4 sales going up 121.86% compared to the previous week due to stores receiving Playstation VR units in stock, and Resident Evil VII is fully playable with Playstation VR.
