Pokemon Go Makers Face Trespassing Lawsuit

PokemonGo

According to BBC News, a lawsuit has been filed against Niantic Labs, The Pokémon Company, and Nintendo over players trespassing on private property.

The lawsuit comes from a man in the United States after people started hanging out outside of his home and at least five of them knocked on his door. It is believed the owner of the property has had a gym or a PokeStop placed on the property.

The lawsuit accuses the defendants of having “shown a flagrant disregard for the foreseeable consequences of populating the real world with virtual Pokémon without seeking the permission of property owners.”
