According to a new article by Takashi Mochizuki of Bloomberg, Sony Group Corporation have slashed the projection on the amount of Playstation VR2 units in half.
Projections within the company had the Playstation VR2 selling around 2 million units this quarter, but has now dropped to around the 1 million mark due to lackluster pre-order numbers according to Bloomberg’s sources
The company are said to expect around 1.5 million units to be sold between the months of April 2022 and March 2023.
Playstation VR2 officially launches on February 22.
