According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Nintendo will be doubling production of the Nintendo Switch in the fiscal year ending in March 2018. This would mean that 16 million units would be produced as 8 million Switch units are currently produced. Nintendo are also aiming to sell 10 million units between now and March 2018.
The decision is believed to be the result on high demand for the Switch.
