Nintendo Spends $3.8 Million On Stock Buybacks

Nintendo of Japan have announced they have acquired treasury shares. The procedure was completed during a meeting of the company’s board of directors and saw them spend 50,695,820,000 yen ($3,888,968.62 USD) to purchase 899,500 common shares from existing shareholders.

Purchased through the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the company are allowed to purchased up to 1 million shares according to the board’s resolution.
