Nintendo Expect 10% Decrease In Switch Sales

According to a new report by Nikkei, Nintendo expect a 10% decrease in Switch sales for the current fiscal year with current expectations being they sell 20 million units this year.

The company noted the reason for this was due to the ongoing chip shortage as well as the current lockdown taking place in Shanghai.

To make up for this shortcoming, Nintendo plan on increasing their overall software sales. Nintendo currently have Splatoon 3 and a new Pokemon title releasing the the end of the year.
