Sega released some home themes based on some of their old consoles in Japan, however they announced via Twitter that they will be bringing one of them to the U.S.
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the release of the Game Gear, they will be bringing over the Home Theme of the Sega Game Gear for Nintendo 3DS over to the United States. The U.S. version will have different music compared to the Japanese version and will and focus on a single black Game Gear. The top will look much like the classic Game Gear screen and the bottom will make your folders look like Game Gear cartridges.
No release date has been set at this time.
