Need for Speed: Heat To “Never” Have Loot Boxes

In a surprise move, EA Community Manager Ben Walke took to Reddit to say that there will not be any loot boxes in their recently announced racing game Need for Speed: Heat.

When a fan jokingly said something about the game being overloaded with loot boxes, Walke replied:

“There are no lootboxes in NFS Heat and there won’t be.”

While some see this as a sign of great things to come for the franchise, many are still skeptical since the game is tied to Electronic Arts.
