Reddit user Connorthorne spotted Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox Store as a new backwards compatibility game and posted a picture of it on the site.
The game reached 129,000 votes to be added to the backwards compatibility list so this would make sense. Connorthorne did say “MW2 was on the Xbox Store and wouldn’t let me buy it just said error then it was gone :(”
The same thing happened to both Left 4 Dead 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament and both of those titles were eventually added to the list.
