
According to a new report by Gamma Data, the Chinese mobile gaming market has grown considerably over the past year. From January to March 2020, the market grossed 55 billion yuan or $7.7 billion. This makes a growth rate of 49% compared to last year.
The first-person shooter genre saw a drastic increase going from around 3% of Q1 Top 50 revenue share last year to 19% making it the second most popular genre behind ARPGs. This is in large part due to the massive success of games such as Game for Peace and CrossFire: Legends.
