Microsoft Renews Rights To Scalebound

Despite the game being cancelled in January, Microsoft have renewed the rights to Scalebound. The rights were set to expire on May 3, but an extension was filed and granted on the same day.

So what does this mean for development? Sources for XRays Insider have said that development has resumed and according to reports, Platinum Games will not have any involvement with development and Microsoft will essentially be redeveloping the game from scratch.
